German Trujillo, DDS

 

Dr. German Trujillo was born and raised in Colombia, South America, where he received a degree in General Dentistry from the Health Sciences Institute CES in Medellin. After graduating, Dr. Trujillo worked as a family dentist for 10 months in a rural area of Colombia, before moving to Chicago where he received his degree in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Trujillo practiced OMFS for five years in the greater Seattle area as an Associate Oral Surgeon at BrightNow! Dental. In addition to a busy surgery schedule, he taught dental students as an affiliate instructor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the University of Washington, and was an active staff member at the Overlake Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Trujillo has recently opened his own private practice in the San Diego area, and is also a member of the California Dental Association and the San Diego County Dental Society. He practices full-scope OMFS and would like to offer his services to patients who need treatment in the specialty. He looks forward to working with you.

Julia, Office Manager

Originally from Chicago, Julia first moved to sunny California to begin her undergraduate studies at Stanford University. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a writer for web-based companies in various industries, including beauty, health and medical technology.

She has worked for many new offices and start-ups, and brings to the office her broad organizational and managerial skills. After office hours, Julia enjoys getting to know the city of San Diego, as well as wine tasting and writing.

 

Olivia, Surgical Technician

Olivia hails from Las Cruces, New Mexico, and arrived in San Diego in 2005 as a Boatswain with the United States Navy. Olivia completed her tenure with the Navy and is currently pursuing her Associate’s Degree. She has plans to later complete a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Geology.

In addition, Olivia completed her Dental Assistant training and has since been working in the field for a year. When she’s not assisting in surgery, Olivia spends her spare time watching movies, reading and hiking.

 

Kristen, Surgical Technician

Kristen is a California girl through and through. Born and raised in Riverside, Kristen has lived in many parts of the United States. Most recently, she lived in Hawaii and Florida before moving to San Diego in with her husband, who is a United States Navy officer, and her three children.

Kristen has been in the dental industry for eight years and has developed a vast working knowledge of many dental specialties. In her free time, Kristen enjoys her family and friends, walking with her two dogs, reading and catching rays at the beach.
